Hello!
As you may or may not know, we have been accepted into the narrative competition at the 2011 Atlanta Film Festival.
It is a thrill to be a part of this year's festival. I gotta tell you, I was fairly certain we weren't getting in. Recently there have been some shakeups at the fest and the new leadership was quoted as saying they wanted to take the festival in a more "populist" direction, which scared me. I had loved the lineup of previous years and didn't want it to get watered down in any way by "populism". I am very happy to say that the lineup for this year looks fantastic. And dare I say even more adventurous than last year?
Here are our screening times:
Saturday April 30 - 3:30pm
Landmark Midtown Cinema
Friday May 6 - 6:30pm

Slamdance
Hello friends,
We are delighted and pumped to announce that Pleasant People will be making its world debut at the 2011 Slamdance Film Festival. This is a great victory for our scrappy little movie, and I'll say that it came as an unexpected surprise. We will be making a trip to Park City to partake in all the festivities and we can't wait to see what happens next!

That's a wrap.
Shooting has wrapped. Picture is pretty much locked (although I'm debating deleting 1 scene entirely.) I'm editing sound right now. This is what my timeline looks like.
